things to consider when choosing led strip lights
Now we will take you to the next stage. installation.
Installing the LED light strip is from very simple to very difficult, but in the end it all depends on the final result you are trying to achieve through the lighting system.
For example, the introduction of a 1 m long LED lighting strip in your kitchen cabinet may be much more direct than using a 20 m long rgb led strip light to equip a club and run it on the DMX control
No matter what you do, there are some common things to note that this article will take you through some of them.
We will start with the LED tape itself.
This includes a long flexible circuit board with a high impact force, and the device or SMDs installed on its surface are placed along its length.
There are several different issues to consider here, including LED per meter, LED chip size, Bar light color and length.
The Strip light has two LED varieties per meter, 30 LEDs per meter and 60 LEDs per meter.
As suggested by the name, the latter has twice as many LEDs as the former and is brighter than the former.
They are designed to be used in lighting environments that are forced to compete with background lighting.
For example, if you want to use them in daylight, like store street displays, or add them to a room that already has regular lighting and still wants to see them, you should choose 60 LEDs per meter as their clearer light output makes them suitable for these purposes.
On top of that, 30 LED light strips per meter will be able to handle most other lighting arrangements, such as club settings, or other places where they don\'t have to compete with background lighting.
When you look at the specifications of strip lighting, you usually notice a series of four numbers that don\'t make much sense to most people.
These actually refer to the size of a single LEDs on the Strip.
Usually you will find the chip size of 5050 (5mm by 5mm)or 3528 (3. 5mm by 2. 8mm).
The key difference between the two chip sizes is the consistency of the light they produce.
Smaller LEDs produce more jagged and inconsistent effects, while larger LEDs provide more uniform light propagation.
The other thing to decide is what color of striped light you want to buy.
They usually come in three main colors, including warm and cool white and interchanged RGB.
The first two are to add stylish ambient lighting in both commercial and home settings, while avoiding being too fancy to the end result.
They can enhance the appearance of the room aesthetically by adding layering or emphasizing lighting, or add functionality to the kitchen, bathroom or office, and they can be used as task lighting for auxiliary work.
Rgb led is a direct replacement for vintage disco lighting that offers thousands of programmable effects.
Typically, they will run directly from the remote control, which works with the red-eye sensor connected between the emergency light and the transformer.
However, the DMX control is also an option.
This is an advanced form of effect programming that uses industry-standard signals to control the brightness, color, and frequency of the light.
The most obvious consideration is the exact length of the strip lighting you need.
It depends on the nature of your setup and how complicated your intentions are.
Usually, most lighting arrangements can be done with a strip.
Strip lights are available on the standard of 5 m and 10 m reels, but longer or shorter custom lengths can be ordered, so please call the supplier to find out.
Lengthened or shortened bar lighting can also be done by itself.
Shortening the Bar light can be done by simply cutting the Bar light at one of its cutting points, which is about 5 cm apart along the length of the light.
In order to connect the two belts together and thus increase the length of the light, you need a soldering iron and some two core wires.
Simply weld these wires to the respective plus and minus welding points at the end of the already cut strip lamp and do the same on another strip to complete the connection.
This method can get some extra length, especially when tracking them near a large corner.
